My name is Phillip Thomas.

I am a 42 year old native East Texan.  I graduated from Hooks High School in 1987, Dallas Baptist University in 1993 and played in the Florida Marlins Organization.

I've had training from some of the best in MLB baseball.  From playing and learning from the  Marlins to visiting with the Texas Rangers hitting instructor Rudy Jaramillo, I've learned from some of the best in MLB.  

I have lived in Longview, Texas since 1997.  I have been doing private hitting and fielding lessons for the past 15 years. 

I am a partner with Pineywoods Baseball helping bring USSSA tournament baseball to Longview, Texas.  Go to www.pineywoodsbaseball.com for tournament schedule.

I've recently signed on with the University of Texas at Austin to help instruct at certain baseball camps throughout the year.

I have a wife of 16 years, Susan, and three kids, Trevor 16, Bryton 14 and Kensington 11.
